Does anyone sell sediment bowls anymore.
I was sure I saw water in the supply line leading to the prefilter as well as the junk in it.

OUCH ! .

I see shiny _metal_ in there .

American fuel is always so dirty and full of random junk .

I get those tiny black chunks that look like miniature coal .

So far the Coupe's been O.K. (I'm back to Diesel Kleen) but the 240D is maybe not yet clear of fungus .

I always carry spare clear plastic intake filter/strainers in the glove box .

[diesel_mercedes] Fuel Economy Check '84 300CD Slushbox

 

AC used the entire tank I think .

Silver bottle Diesel Kleen used .

398 miles , 25 MPG .

It's still smoking too much   injector pop testing is next then I guess I'll begin the hunt for a rebuild injection pump....
