I don't like Sport nor Dirt bikes, I can't ride a big bike anymore so looking at Standards and Cruisers, I have a fairly limited budget to work with, sigh .

I know there's a nice old bike sitting un used somewhere not terribly far from Los Angeles .

I've been looking at Royal Enfields, they're pretty cheap new or used, many bought them on a whim and discover they don't like riding a slow and pokey old Motocycle even if it's new or nearly so .

? Anyone here have something for me ? .

Vintage rice grinders can be had for pretty cheap. My last bike was a '76 Honda 750K. Before that it was a Kawasaki 650 and before that a Honda 450T. I actually liked the automatic. REALLY easy to ride. Also lotsa mopeds.
