[diesel_mercedes] Re: 79 300D vacuum hoses

is this a euro model? What is the full 6 digit engine number?
Then at least we will know whether it ever had an egr valve.

I have 3 hoses that were plugged off and need to find out where they are supposed to go. I think one or more might need to go to something on the valve cover but nothing up there. A diagram for a 79 would be good, also. I find a lot of diagrams for newer models, but they all have an EGR and mine doesn't.

[diesel_mercedes] Re: Exhaust Manafold to down pipe connection question

No flex pipe on the current (about a year old) or the original down pipe that I took off.

The walker diagram for the non-turbo, along with a couple others show the the pipe I have.

Motor Mounts are fine, I replaced the drivers side 3-4 years ago (former owner was a bio guy and it was leaking on the mount, it was mush), the passengers was ok.
