Well ;
A couple years ago I bought a Uro blower and it was too noisy so I took it back out and serviced an original one, gave that one away, I think he's still using it in his 240D....
I like this one much better, the Uro tech team told me they'd made some changes so I tried again, I'm sold on it now, I only have another 20 years to live =/- so I expect it will out last me .

I had the same experience when I replaced my aging genuine Mercedes unit with the URO replacement instead of replacing the brushes. The new motor drew fewer amps and pushed a lot more air. However, the URO motor has a higher pitched whine that the old unit didn't have, so it's a bit more noticeable. Me, though, I'm enjoying the heat.

O.K., I've been driving with this new blower in heat and cold and the best thing is : it passes far more air volume so I can leave it on the lowest setting and still get plenty of heat or cold air .I hope everyone here has a nice Holiday .-NateLIVE in the world as it is, WORK to make the world as it should be
