Well ;
As I said , we trade with this Commercial shop a lot (Semis , Trash Trucks on and on...) so they cut me a break , I always go in with extra injectors and trade them for the job... no actual $ changes hands .
I now have a pop tester but the U.S.P.S. used it for a football so as soon as I get a new gauge , I'll be able to pop test injectors at gatherings of the faithful....
Were I in your shoes , I'd yank the injectors and bag 'em (they're _EXTREMELY_ sensitive to dust & dirt) then schlepp 'em round all the various Mercedes Indie shops in your area and ask ' how much to pop test Diesel Fuel Injectors ? ' before showing them the bag full or whatever , it can't be much , if it is , walk away and try the next shop , there's roughly a zillion Independent Mercedes Shops in So. Cal. ~ look for one with the blue & white " BOSCH SERVICE " sign .
