This group provides a forum for owners and operators of diesel powered motorhomes and 5th wheel tractors to discuss mechanical issues, regulatory issues (US, Canada), ownership, insurance, campground accommodations, trip reports/suggestions, and other topics relevant to large RVs and the people who drive them.

Shore is purtyThe other day I came out @ 04:00 to see one of my cactus had flowered ~ it has three flower buds, this is the only one I've _ever_ seen open, it was pitch dark (oak tree shades this area) so I had to use a flash to get pic. # 1 .
Just before sunrise I came out again and the flower was beginning to close but still looked nice and had a bee looking in it for pollen .

Hopefully you pollinated it, or the bee did it's job, so you get fruit.

Brian,
Sounds like you have a bit of work to do to keep your cars moving ahead.
Let us know how it goes.
I thought of you when I put a skid plate under my 300D, remembering your stories from many years ago about hitting the oil pan, leading to donor cars, etc. The Skid Plate was on eBay a few years ago, from Germany, yet I think it was aftermarket, and needed a few tweaks to get it to fit. I doubt I'll ever hit the plate, yet if I do, hopefully it helps.

Well, it is back down to 70-75F so I guess A/C worries can be put off until next year. Next focus will be a complete rebuild of Mary's front suspension, the replacement of Martha's rear end from donor Jane Doe, figuring out why Martha suddenly runs rough at startup and idle, like maybe an injector is having a nervous breakdown.
