I put in a solid five hours yesterday on my '82 240D, I finished fiddling with the navy blue European driver's seat I installed then took the driver's rear door apart to repair the squeaky window lift and cap off the vacuum actuator, replaced the antenna shaft after some @$$hat bent it yet again .
Then I took the front brakes part way apart to replace the worn out rotors and realized I'd left important tools and parts in the garage that cannot be opened until I button it all back up again this morning and move both the car and my truck .
Sigh . two steps forward and one step back . being an Old Man is harder than I expected .
At least the replacement driver's seat is comfy and supportive .
