[diesel_mercedes] MORE P-A-P Finds W115 in Baltimore

Is anyone is looking for W-115 300D parts near Baltimore? There is a
complete (must have come in in the last day or two) blue one. Looks like
you could drive it away. No rust, no dents, excellent paint and as of
yesterday no one had removed anything from it.

Its in Crazy Rays, 2801 Hawkins Point Rd., Baltimore 21226.

It will be gone in a week or two...

Tom and I were out hunting parts & I found a really clean W-115 Gasser , it even still had the Becker Europa radio in it , I took the grille as this is the very last Mercedes that has the star on what appears to be a radiator cap . they dinged me a lot for it but it'll look great on the wall of my garage .

I also found a very nice 1982 240D with minimal front crash damage , it had new glow plugs and other misc. parts (heater valve (! $ !) , I'd love to yank the engine & tranny out of it for SWMBO's 1982 240D as her needs both engine and tranny rebuilding , I've been nursing it along for years now but it needs help to be right .

Of course , by the time we were leaving because the sun was fully up and it was 90 + ° F , I spotted an old 1979 anniversary model MG Midget , this of course is the _only_ year equipped with the American Spec. 3.72 final drive ratio so had to stop and yank it out , in the dirt , in the blazing sun..... I'm lucky I found it before anyone else did .
