NASCAR is so far removed from "stock car" it'll never
come back.
U.S. car makers haven't built a car with a carburetor
since 1990, and yet, NASCAR still uses them. It just
doesn't make any sense to me.
I don't expect race cars to be "stock cars" any more
but it seems like they would better represent the
state of the art.
