1/2 way through my response , the 'puter burped and my message
dissapeared..... are the Black Helicopters circling again ? . =8-)
Anyway , my surprise was that Network News would care ~ the last
greasecar story I saw on TV was some dirty college hippies
feverishly working on a junker VW van they'd stuffed a worn out
Rabbit Diesel engine into , then they wheezed it across America ,
breaking down constantly and never taking the time to bathe....
To me , the slant of the story was something like : look at the
stupid nasty dirty tree hugging hippies , aren't they
stupid/comical ? .
The CBS bit last night , was tight and well written , showed a clean
shaven _Doctor_ who lived in a perfect house , in a nice
neighborhood driving a pristine Mercedes and so on.....
_TOTALLY_ different presentation of the greasecar idea , this time
it was 100 % posative and upbeat .
