No debate. I have obviously flooded my own just this morning, when I started
it on full throttle. Did the same just an hour ago, too. Flooded my last one
every winter morn, too. And the company trucks, too. Every day.
Person who advised you lives in southern Cali and has no idea what he is
saying. Read the Manual!!! The manufacturer would NEVER advise something
that would lead to flooding, NEVER.
I have seen the exact same starting advice in manuals as diverse as a
mid-sixties Ford truck, mid-seventies VW Rabbit to a late eighties Iveco,
almost word for word.
But feel free to ignore the advice of the folks who built the car. After
all, what the hell do they know?!?!
