It seems I may have put my foot in my mouth already on this one.  And I would like to state for the record that all previous offers or claims/rants on my part were I stated a desire to pass out copies, or to get even, a desire to get sued, are null and void.  I have no desire to commit any immoral acts.  

I will chose not to make any copies of these manuals. I am no longer upset at the source of these manuals. What I can and Will do, and this is advised by my father/Lawyer, is to let the individuals who were so kind enough to give me advice/help to borrow the Original Manuals that I received from the Manufacturer. My father's words were "Don't try to get away with sneaky stuff, just try to be a genuine person." I think we can all agree that we are a group that helps each other work on their cars together, and that this is in no way immoral for me to assist my friends/group-members.  I think safety is an important issue, I think it is important to take care of your car. Just last week in Mariposa (near Yosemite, California) I lost most of my braking power driving on a dangerous mountainous road in the snow towing my friends 1963 Drag racer on it's original trailer.  No I wasn't towing it with a diesel Mercedes. 

Going to Maui for a few days with my Father.  I asked my father if he would try to get physically conditioned enough to paddle his ocean outrigger canoe from the island of Maui to Molokai with me (before he gets too damn old). Last time there it seemed totally do-able but the conditions were too perfect.  The old man is over sixty now, but his 8 years of Coast Guard and many years of surfing still serve him well.  They don't make cars or people like they used to.
