I used to have a 1950 Pontiac straight 8 with a "slight" oil problem. I just kept 2 gallons in the trunk and "temporarily" solved the problem, like for about 12 months.

I didn't buy enough oil yesterday so now I'm stuck here.  There's only a tiny bit showing on the dip stick and I just put a quart in.
