That's about how this is gonna go...although I checked it a bit ago and it was barely showing on the dip stick, after a quart I swear it was lower. I was scared to move it to flat ground, but I did. I cranked it up, and was ready to switch it off if the oil pressure gauge didn't show a reading. It shot right to the top. I'll check again after it sits for a while.
WOW awesome day, close to 80 sunny and slight 5mph wind. Dogs are waiting to be fed so out I go.
I used to have a 1950 Pontiac straight 8 with a "slight" oil problem. I just kept 2 gallons in the trunk and "temporarily" solved the problem, like for about 12 months.
