Very important - the alloy rims use specific lug bolts, steel rims different lug bolts. Different lengths too. Go to your owners manual on this and get the lug bolt specific to your rim, else you can have an 80 mph adventure when you don't want one.

Subject: [diesel_mercedes] Steel vs Alloy lug length
Do the bundt alloys use longer lugs than steel wheels ?
I am swapping out my front steel rims for some alloys and the studs seem like they don't have as much engagement.
Any one else run both steel and alloys and notice a difference in how much the lugs screw in ?
Thanks
