The windows locks are vacuum controlled. The window electrical circuit works off fuses and switches.

Could a bad thermostat cause this? I made a mistake in my post. The temp guage is moving from 80 to 100, not 90. I am ordering a thermostat and will change it just because. Any other ideas on this?

As for the windows, thought they were vaccuum controlled. My bad. Will check fuses today.

Water can get in the trans if the heat exchanger in the radiator starts leaking. If this is the case you probably could also see signs of oil in the water.
