Brian,

POR20 is reputed to be great stuff, but it can not be in the sun.

If the sinner has rust, POR for the first coat and then his gold acrylic for the top coat might be a good program.

VHT header paint will do that, and POR 20 is said to be good to 1400 degrees...

I'm think acrylic enamel.I''ll install new pad,but I want a better paint than factory,and single stage.
