Alan,

I believe Eastwood used to carry a line of single stage paints and even nitrocellulose lacquer. Might check with them.

Mark in Texas

P.S. Here is some SS urethane from them. http://www.eastwood.com/paints/automotive-refinishing.html

Anyone here use a single stage paint. I've never liked basecoat clearcoat systems since they came out.The clear always lifts away from the base.
Tempted to paint entire car with Rust O Leoum to get that 70s factory look.
But going with this Acrylic one stage,in Gold, with 2 coats.

I'm using centari with hardener in my upcoming repaint of my 300SD.  I'll paint it as soon as I can get my shop over 50 degrees F.
