Both my 240D's will do 82mph.  Level ground.  No headwind. That being said I
usually do 65 or less.  Anytime you have to floor a w123 diesel suspect a fuel
issue.  They will cruise 55 to 70 on level ground easily.  Lawrence Rhodes..
