All gases do expand and contract the same. And water vapor is just another
gas. It may absorb heat differently, amount of calories to raise the temp
one degree F, but it expands/contracts exactly the same for one degree
difference.
For those of you interested in the facts rather than the blowhards, I do
have a Masters Degree in Engineering and PE to support my position.

Les, not all gases expand and contract the same. And moisture in even dry
air will expand more than dry nitrogen. Your argument does not hold water :)
