today was a no start day. Jump, drive, lights dim.
Went to wally where I had purchased the battery and they did a test that showed: voltage 11.68, measured 14cca, rated 760cca temperature 85 degrees F. battery tested good after a 90 minute test/charge.
Firestone said the alternator was putting out 14 at rev.
some dash lights are constantly on - low fuel, alternator, battery, charging. Something is causing the dash lights to stay on. My previous test showed no draw with fuses pulled, and I will try that test again. I am going to pull the cluster and check the fittings, looking for something obvious.
The good news, the mechanic asked me how much I wanted to sell the car.
