There's a thumbwheel in the center console that gets gunked up , or often it's moved off center so one series of speakers plays less or not at all . try moving it forth & back , when it gets dead center there's a minor detent you can feel and maybe a bit of painted white stripe left . SWMBO's was off again just to - day although she insists no one EVER touches it...
Clean this ' Fader Control ' thumbwheel with Detoxit or other Electro Contact cleaner in a Foo-Foo can .
New soeakers are not terribly expensive and yeild impressive results .
Becker radios can be found dirt cheap if you hunt around , also for well over $100 to collectors & restorers .
