RE: [diesel_mercedes] Those Old Chryslers !

 

The latest round of Jesse James (the custom bike/car guy) has him in a new shop in Texas. They hooked up an old Chrysler hemi to a newer transmission. They were able to get an adapter plate but it required cutting the bell housing off of the motor. They did it. Bill

Boy howdy Bill :

Talk about ' ZOOM - ZOOM ! =8-) .

To - day no one cares about those 331 C.I.D. Hemi V-8's , espcially since they had the bell housing cast as part of the cylinder block but they were great .
