Amazon carries these. If you search for "point file" you will get lots of hits. The least expensive (I think) is this:
(I was surprised that Rockauto did not have them.)

I remember the old cars with contact points in the distributor. those contacts has a special hard coating on them. Filing with something coarse would grind off that coating and they would stop working quickly. A very fine piece of sandpaper (about 600 grit) like auto body shops use was best. I always kept a piece in my glove compartment.. ALWAYS wipe the points clean with a piece of cloth afterwards so grit will not keep contacts from making contact. Electronics suppliers sold special files for contact points back in the day (very fine grit).
