I'd say yes but , those all have a plastic bushing in the linkage that's always gone missing and isn't a replacement item so I just leave it alone on our '82 240D , it's one of the peppier 240D's I've driven in spite of one low compression cylinder and it's a slushbox.

You can adjust the rod length to compensate , you'll need 7 & 8 MM wrenches IIRC , don't forget to snug up the lock nuts again .
