I hope you told Duane that Jr. and I both say hello and we miss him .
It was 118* F in Pasadena @ 4:00 PM to - day , I'd spent the day out in Malibu , running my Metropolitan Nash upand down the canyons with some Sports Car guys , I managed to break yet another wheel to - day , luckily for me , I didn't wreck the car and changed it to the spare and motored on home prudently where I hopped into my trusty Mercedes Diesel Sports Coupe and turned the AC up all the way , had a nice cool drive to SWMBO's house with the radio playing oldies , ate too much BBQ as the Teeneagers didn't seem interested in all that meat ~ go figure .
I hope all here had a pleasant and _SAFE_ Holiday to - day .

Praying for some 60 degree weather with a little mist so I can empty the trunks and see what parts I have (need to inventory them), and start planning some work. Always have the vacuums, radios, antennas, seats, to deal with - but first up is simple, i.e., replace the muffler hangers on both cars (been carrying them around for 6 months - don't do much good in the console trays). Might even try and chase down the trans fluid leak on Martha. ps-will see Duane at the LA FAIR in about 2 hours. Since his pelvis fracture I think he went on full disability. The bodies get pretty goosey as the years swim by. Â
