Subject: [diesel_mercedes] Starter Wires on motor swap
OK the only thing that's still kicking Kevin's butt on this motor swap is the starter wires.
My car/starter has 2 wires coming from it. The turbo has 3 wires. He's can't figure out where the 3rd goes on the turbo????
His problem is that my wire isn't long enough to route the way the turbo one routes.
He thinks the reason the other one is longer is it loops up away from the exhaust and mine might burn up being that close???????
We've looked at gobs of cars and not one had a starter wire to look at!
