I have been tracing the vacuum gremlin also. Lots of tutorials and
diagrams on the web. Do a search of the group archives also. I finally
figured out that when my locks are in "lock" position, I have no vacuum
(or at least not enough to stop the engine). When the locks are in
"unlock" position I have good vacuum. This tells me my problem is a
leak in the "locking" vacuum circuit. Have not pulled the door panel
yet but it feels good to have isolated the problem.
