How much $ is this non running lump ? .
If over $600 , I'd pass based on my many years of experience is resurrecting old vehicles .
I rarely pay over scrap value because there's always so much broken crap you didn't expect (plus those $397 of parking tickets) , this adds up very quickly , if you're a Mechanic and plan to keep the vehicle it's not a big deal but you're clueless too so I'd suggest extreme caution here Newd .
Yes you can always get used relays and so on but you don't know enough to know if the used relay is bad or why the damned thing STILL doesn't work after you've paid $150 for it and schlepped it home on the bus.....
I'm actually trying to be helpful here as your new Meds seem to be working well .
