No.You can add a 617 turbo diesel to body.Diesel engine has to be built with turbo in mind.

Hello All

I just bought a 1978 300D. It is in very good shape for a car that old.
I am planning on it being my daily driver.

Can I add a turbo from a later diesel? The lack of speed on hills in my biggest problem with the car.
