After reading posts on this subject, I have questions. First of
all, we have the Smart Sensor 4.0, not 5.7. I am questioning if the
4.0 has been changed also. I looked at the Shurflo website, and
didn't see any mention of redesign. I looked at the documentation
for the 4.0 and 5.7, and they both were still dated 2005. If there
has been a redesign, I would like to talk to them about it. They
always maintained that they never had people with problems like
ours, but kept replacing our pump with new ones. Any help would be
appreciated. Boni

Lots of posts on the internet, including mine. But, gist of it is,
bought with a $100 gift certificate from Camp World, and it still
wasn't worth the money. In 3 years, had it replaced by Shurflo 3
times (for free, the company is very good about replacement). We
did everything the instructions said-the better we made our system,
the worse the pump worked. We now have one that is almost as good
as good ole OEM. Just our experience.
