I don't know this car, but my guess is that it is fuel injection so it will have a high pump pressure. You will need to get really good clamping on both ends. I would try to find an inch of the half and put it in the 3/4 hose. (Maybe you can reuse part of the old hose.)
Guys at parts houses I have talked to seemed to understand that fuel injection hoses have to be "good stuff" to deal with the pressure. Ask them for help.

Can one that is about 3/4 inch substitute for it if it is the right clamp?
The reason is the bosch fuel pump needs the 3/4 but the connection to the car is 1/2.
Also I could not come up with the 1/2.
