2-3 gallons is about right for the reserve, but, that reserve light may come on before the fuel level gets that low. As Bill in Corvallis wrote, if you pulled the lowest drain plug, nearly all the gas will be out, save for some residual, maybe a quart.
Do you need to remove the fuel to change the pump on the SE? I thought the pump on those was external, right next to the tank....

I went to drain the fuel to change the fuel pump. It drained all 8 gallons in the tank??
I thought there was only supposed to be enough in reserve and that is what would have to be drained. The dealer said 2-3 gallons.
If anyone knows what is going on or where I am confused please set me straight.
