I'd have to be there to see .
It sounds like it drained the tank....
Maybe you're not following the hose routing correctly .

I can't get this straight as to why when I disconnected the connection to the fuel pump (left side facing front of the fuel pump) 8 gallons came out.
I did not rain from the tank itself but from the left connector to the FP.
How could everything in the tank come from that point? I thought the FP sucked from the tank and the entire tank would not have to be drained. Only the amount left from the FP onward.
So confused about that and so is my mechanic friend.
