.I always tire a clean rag tightly around my wrist due to this ~ 40 + years on and it still burns like FIRE .
D-Jet fuel pumps have an odd hookup ~ they loop around and have a damper in the circuit , easy to mis connect things when you're changing old crispy hoses .
