I don't know where VW diesels are currently manufactured.

One of the marine diesel sites says that VW is now manufacturing diesel engines of less than 5 liters in conjunction with Cummins, somewhere overseas.

Yesterday, I stated that I had no idea about Cummins involvement with organized labor, so I went to google and asked: "Who owns Cummins?).  I seems now that if Cummins didn't actually invent globalization, they certainly perfected it, and I doubt they have anything much to do with organized labor...

BK, you are right.  There is little doubt that Cummins will be able to take the miles that my Benz diesel does, but time will tell.  Sorry I missed that!
Do you know, are the VW diesels made in USA?
