First two things to check :
Valve adjustment (yes , I know you just did it) and fuel intake air leaks (more than the one normal bubble in the clear intake screen)
Maybe you're just cute ? my psychotic b*tch ex GF was unbeleivably sexy & cute , she drove sans license for many years and was always getting hit up by horny Cops , never a ticket though .
