Not sure he'd go for being locked in the trunk! He was upset enough when he went digging under the seat for his lost cell phone and found an apple core I had lost days before! hahahaha...I thought it was funny anyhow!
Not the motor mounts. However I did mention to him he might want to check to see how tight they are now that I've put 1400 miles on it.
We tried to record the thud, but you can't hear it recorded.
Where are you that it's so nice??
Trish, I have had thuds from sway bar bushing that wore out on the rear sway bar. Pretty easy replacement. If you look at it you will see if it is bent or disfigured. Other thuds have been motor mounts.
I have never had any noise from my flex plate, but that could be an issue of the noise.
If the noise is from the rear, check all the bushings for wear.
Put Kevin in the trunk and see if he can pinpoint the location, axle middle, axle side. Loose items in the trunk. And if he behaves, let him out.
re windows, is there a child switch on these cars? I don't know.
You should not need the aux fan to get cold a/c. It really only helps when the car is warm and traffic is barely moving. You may have a freon leak.
Other than that, I will now step aside and yield the floor to those more knowledable than I.
Chuck
p.s. it is barely warm here. Wait until July and August.
