Thanx to the timely warning of another lister here , I went out and began reading the toilet bowl cleaner labels and many do in fact have _HYDROCHLORIC_ACID_ in them , BAD STUFF indeed , you don't want to mess with it .
Instead , go to Wally Mart and buy " SNO-BOL " brand toilet bowl cleaner or CLR , those have the gentler Phosphoric Acid that will not blind or main you , very good for de rusting of steel parts , _NOT_ to be used on anything alloy .
