Dean,
You want all the tools you'll need, for the parts you want.
I always do a quick walk through with just a few tools: screwdrivers, a
few wrenches, vise grips, etc, to see the cars on the lot, while having
a larger tool box or 5gal bucket with more tools if needed. Don't lug
the big box if there's no parts to be had.
Don't forget hand cleaner and some towels.
