As it turns , I had five consecutive days off so of course I worked by stupid bum off ~ Tom came by Sunday morning and we went to walk the P-A-P yards , sadly almost NO W-123's were found and the few W-126 Diesels had their engines removed complete .
One of the yards had an un advertised 1/2price sale so I got another Becker radio for $9.00 .
In another yard I found a Becker Electronic with a rebuild tag on it , paid $15.00 , maybe now I'll have a working cassette player .
Various other niggley little parts were found too , " Just So " screws , nuts , washers and such , the detail things that keep your vintage Mercedes running like a champ and yes , the details *D* matter !~ =8-) .
