So, I posted the FSM for the engine. I went through the linkage section (page 65-69 for my car), and it didn't help completely. I now have the full throttle stop adjustments right, but I still lack power, especially when I come upon a hill. When I have cruise control on at 55, I sink down to about 50 when I hit an incline of any mention. This is unusual since a few months ago I crossed the country with it set at 55 and never dropped below 55, even in mountainous areas. It actually takes off pretty well on level ground, and it's not too bad starting off on a little hill, but it's not like it used to be. Incidentally, this is a converted veggie car, and the symptoms are present on both diesel and veggie, so the problem isn't fuel filters. I'd like to fool with the ALDA, but it's already adjusted to its counter-clockwise limit. I was thinking of putting in a shim to get some extra range of adjustment. Thanks.
