If your lift pump is the old style one with the white knurled knob , then yes , it should be replaced as a matter or course . it's cheap insurance .

There's a new style that has a black plastic push cover instead of the old , needs to be unscrewed before hand pumping typ , I don't like it as it pumps less volume .

Both types are still available .
