As mentioned many times here , the speed at which you run your W-123 has everything to do with it .
As our 300,000 + mile 240D routinely gets 30 + MPG's across the Desert fully loaded & with the AC on ,I know this is because I simply WILL NOT exceed 60 MPH .
Tom's W-126 , he holds it to 60 MPH and it returns 30 + MPG's fully loaded , like a TRUCK loaded .
