The ' solid click ' almost certainly means the solenoid is toast....
DO NOT buy a ' rebuilt ' solenoid ! get new only , either BOSCH or ECHLIN branded...
Or , just exchange the entire starter for a rebuilt BOSCH branded one, they always replace the solenoid with new .
Other brand rebuilts , not so much .
