[Diesel-RVs] Re:Used DP - not used much

Being an 02 model year, it was probably manufactured in 2001 or early 2002. That makes it at least 6 years old. The problem with little usage is that seals, gaskets and other mechanical components take a set, that is, conform to the position they're in most of the time. They also dry out and crack. When these components start being used more frequently, you are likely to start seeing leaks and seeps and more serious failures that you would not see on a coach used more frequently. Frankly, I'm more concerned about the chassis-related items than coach related but that's mostly because they're generally more expensive to repair.

As others have suggested, buy a broad coverage extended warranty but make sure it is of the type that names what is NOT covered and also explicitly covers seals and gaskets. Too little mileage/usage is not a good thing.
