I had a Mechanic at my indie VW Shop in the 1970's, a young idealistic English Chappie who loved Citroens and bought a tired old DS and tried hard to put it right, in time he got screwed hard by a local indie shop that has thankfully gone out of business, he tried to give me the car , I passed, might have been a mistake, that .
I need to go to the bank to - day and will prolly ride my 1970 Honda CT90k2......
I have a bunch of books I need to distribute to the local 'Little Free Libraries' , all this after I test and begin cleaning the new (used) fuel sender I bought for my '84 300CD ~ the new/used one came from a dead WVO car and so is caked with old fatty veggien oil and crud from some lazy jerk who didn't follow all the veggie oil steps.....
If it works and the low fuel lamp works, I'll take it apart and carefully clean it, install in my Coupe, I'm going to need to refuel it around Christmas day, then I'll see how I managed to kill the low fuel lamp contacts in the current sender .
