Well, I think I would feel different, at least for a while. But of course I keep a couple of spares laying around so I would forget about it in short time. Plenty of other things to do, like flying with your boy. Max

Picked Mary up in La Verne at 5pm Wednesday from the mechanic. Got almost to Bakersfield when the head gasket blew around 9pm. Stood on the side of #I-5 for a couple of hours with CHP until tow truck found me. Towed her back to La Verne and got a bed at Motel 6 in San Dimas at 2am Thursday. Well, it is now Monday and am awaiting the results of the autopsy this week. Did I fry the engine, or can it be salvaged? What did Mike miss when he tackled the engine overheating issue? Only time will tell.
