I heard most people don't send in the rebate after they buy the product , though it does help sales. I send them in, always get the item, sometimes you can send it in online .

I just got a flyer from our Big R store, now North 40. They have Mobil 1 on sale with a rebate. I wonder about rebates. Whats the deal? Mailing lists to sale? Do they really pay the rebate. They have 5 gallon buckets of 5W- 40 , diesel rated, , on sale for $104 then a $60 rebate, so $44 after rebate. That sounds good, very good,if you get the rebate back. Max
