[diesel_mercedes] Re: Set clock in Nate's car

Thanx again Bill ! .

I read this and made multiple trips out to the car but only got the hours set , I can't make the minutes change .

I bookmarked this and when I find someplace with a printer I'll print them out , drag out to the damn car and set them on the driver's seat so mayhap I can figger it out .

Sadly , some 10 + years ago I found the instructions in the glovebox of a junked Mercedes , they were pristine and i was *filthy* from head to toe so didn't touch them , just looked longingly and wondered if I'd remember to go back , I didn't .

Foolish me .

I made it to Albuquerque to - day after a nice quiet night sans WiFi in Grants, NM ~ they had WiFi but the wall plug was 20' away from where I had to set up my LapTop .

Oops .

All is well , rain every day since Saturday so the Desert is BRIGHT GREEN and smells wonderful .

I'm three days early so of course , there are NO Pick-A-Part junkyard anywhere in the entire Four Corners area.....
 .

I'll continue to poke around on Historic Rt. 66 and so on until everyone else arrives Saturday .

Thanx Bill ~ for some reason the page just idles when I click 'play' .

I'll try it again later .

I have an old Kenwood KCC-1011S CD player in the 240D and I'm trying to set the clock ~ I got the hours right but cannot get the minutes to change ~ they just blink and no matter what button I touch , it leaves the clock adjust setting =8-^ .
